Purple Blotches On Arms

They are purple blotches appearing on forearms, hands, face, neck and sometime on thighs. The capillaries (tiny blood vessels on the skin) become fragile in old age. Minor trauma to the capillaries may lead to leakage of blood in the surrounding skin tissue. This forms a purple patch.
